Cat 6A U/UTP LSOH Cable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet
Cat 6A U/UTP LSOH cable is an unshielded, solid copper Ethernet cable for fixed indoor structured cabling. ETK Kablo manufactures this four-pair, 23 AWG cable for 10GBASE-T applications, with electrical performance specified up to 500 MHz.
Part of our Cat 6A cable range, this LSOH version serves projects that require a low-smoke, halogen-free outer sheath. Applications include office LANs, school and hospital networks, wireless access point connections and copper links within data centres.
500 MHz Performance and 10GBASE-T Channels
Category 6A cabling supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over compliant channels up to 100 metres. A typical channel includes up to 90 metres of fixed cabling and a total of 10 metres of patch and equipment cords. Connectors, patch panels, cords and installation quality all contribute to the channel’s performance.
Use compatible Cat 6A components and verify the installed cabling against the applicable test limits. For unshielded installations, cable routing and bundling also matter because interference can couple between neighbouring cables.
What Does U/UTP Mean?
U/UTP means that the cable has neither an overall metallic screen nor individual pair screens. Twisted pairs and a star-shaped separator form the cable core. The separator maintains pair separation to help control internal crosstalk.

The following configuration is listed for this product. The designation 4x2x23 AWG identifies four twisted pairs, eight insulated conductors and a conductor size of 23 AWG.

LSOH Sheath for Indoor Network Installations
LSOH and LSZH are commonly used terms for low-smoke, zero-halogen cable materials. This cable’s outer sheath addresses projects with specified smoke and halogen requirements. The Standards section provides the listed test references.
Sheath material alone does not establish a CPR Euroclass or continued circuit operation during fire. Include any required CPR classification in the project specification and request the corresponding Declaration of Performance for the selected product.

Is this Cat 6A cable shielded?
No. This is a U/UTP cable without foil or braid screens. It uses twisted pairs and a separator within the cable core.
Is this a solid copper cable or a CCA cable?
The specified conductors are solid electrolytic copper, not copper-clad aluminium. The listed conductor size is 23 AWG.
Can this cable be used for PoE?
The product datasheet lists Power over Ethernet as an application. For a specific PoE installation, confirm the required power level, cable bundle size, ambient temperature and channel length with the project designer.
