CAT 6 Data Cables | Reliable Gigabit Ethernet & Structured Cabling by ETK Kablo

ETK Kablo CAT 6 data cables deliver reliable, high-performance connectivity for modern structured cabling systems. Designed to meet the needs of today’s data-driven applications, our CAT 6 cables support bandwidths up to 250 MHz and data speeds of 1 Gigabit Ethernet (1 GbE). With low attenuation, minimal crosstalk, and robust construction, they ensure consistent and interference-free transmission—ideal for commercial buildings, data centers, and industrial networks.

High-Speed Network Performance

ETK Kablo’s CAT 6 Ethernet cables provide outstanding signal stability for high-speed LAN environments, supporting 10/100/1000Base-T applications. Their enhanced electrical characteristics make them ideal for VoIP systems, video conferencing, cloud computing, and IoT infrastructure. Engineered for consistent data transmission, these cables ensure excellent performance across demanding network topologies and structured cabling installations.

Shielding Types for Every Environment

Our CAT 6 portfolio includes U/UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair), F/UTP (Foil Shielded Twisted Pair), and S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) configurations.
The U/UTP version is ideal for office networks and low-interference environments, offering cost-effective and flexible installation.
For areas with higher electromagnetic noise—such as industrial facilities, hospitals, or broadcast studios—the F/UTP and S/FTP variants provide superior protection against EMI and signal loss.

Construction & Safety Materials

Each cable is manufactured with high-purity copper conductors and precisely balanced twisted pairs, minimizing signal attenuation and Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT).
Outer sheaths are available in LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), PVC, and PE options to meet different installation and safety requirements.
The LSZH models are particularly suitable for public buildings and enclosed spaces, where low smoke and non-toxic emissions are critical for fire safety compliance.

Standards & Certification

ETK Kablo’s CAT 6 network cables are manufactured in accordance with ISO/IEC 11801 (Class E), TIA/EIA-568-C.2, and EN 50173 standards, ensuring global interoperability and long-term reliability.
All production batches undergo rigorous electrical and mechanical testing in ETK Kablo’s certified laboratories—covering parameters such as return loss, NEXT, and propagation delay—to ensure compliance with international quality benchmarks.

Applications of CAT 6 Data Cables

  • Data Centers & Server Rooms: Reliable Gigabit Ethernet cabling for high-density rack environments.

CAT 6 — Frequently Asked Questions

Is Cat6 1GB or 10GB?

Cat6 is rated for 1 Gbps up to 100 m. It can run 10 Gbps only over shorter distances (typically up to ~55 m, depending on installation quality and interference). For guaranteed 10 Gbps at 100 m, choose Cat6A.

Is Cat7 better than Cat6?

Cat7 offers higher bandwidth (600 MHz vs 250 MHz) and full shielding (S/FTP) for stronger noise immunity and 10 Gbps to 100 m. Whether it’s “better” depends on the use case—Cat6A is usually more practical for RJ45-based building networks, while Cat7 suits highly noisy environments.

Is Cat6 faster than Cat5e?

Both Cat5e and Cat6 support 1 Gbps to 100 m. However, Cat6 has higher bandwidth (250 MHz vs 100 MHz) and better crosstalk performance, and can support 10 Gbps on shorter runs—so it offers more headroom and potential speed.

Is Cat6 better than Wi-Fi?

For reliability and latency, yes. A wired Cat6 link provides consistent throughput and low latency, unaffected by congestion or interference. Wi-Fi can show higher peak rates, but real-world speeds are shared and variable; use Cat6 for critical devices and Wi-Fi for mobility.
